Everything at our shiny new proudly independent practice has been designed with our patients and their owners in mind.
When our canine friends walk into reception their paws will step onto our flooring from “Floors for Paws”, a slip resistant surface providing comfort for our friends with paws! This surface helps arthritic dogs giving them maximum grip to aid their movement. As well as the slip resistant properties our floor is hypo-allergenic and very easy to clean and so keeps our reception hygienic.
Our luxury flooring continues in onto the consultation rooms which have a bespoke room design. We have wall-mounted computers which allows our veterinary professionals to face you whilst also looking at the screen during the consultation appointment. We have wall-mounted folding examination tables allowing the table to be out of the way and giving maximum space for patients who prefer to be examined on the floor (and enjoying the benefits of our comfortable flooring!). For our feline and canine patients who wish to use the consult table the surface is designed with comfort in mind! We also have comfortable chairs in the consult rooms for you humans too!
We have separate feline and canine in-patient wards to create a calm environment and minimise any stress for patients staying with us for operations or being hospitalised. We also have an isolation ward for any patients with infectious disease.
On site we have a lab with extensive blood machines allowing us to report many blood tests back to you within minutes of us taking the blood sample! Our blood machines can run haematology and many biochemistry profiles. This allows pre-operative blood tests and many other blood tests we would want to run on ill animals to be run in-house too. In our lab we have a Urine Sediment Analyzer allowing us to analyse urine sediment consistently and accurately.
We have a courier service with daily collections for any blood samples, urine samples and other diagnostics we are needing to send to the external lab and these results will have variable results times depending on the exact test being run.
We have the facilities and experience for numerous routine and emergency surgeries and dental procedures to be performed on-site in our operating theatre or dental suite. From
neutering and lump removals to emergency surgeries, from dental descale and polishes to dental extraction we will advise you how we can help.
We have a diagnostic suite with an x-ray machine and ultrasound facilities. For more complex cases needing in depth ultrasound examinations we offer a visit from peripatetic ultrasound sonographers.
For any case and in particular complex cases that would benefit from consultation or surgery with a specialist we are more than happy to advise and arrange referrals to any referral centre of your choice.
We have so many amazing facilities in our building, but this would be nothing without the people in it! We pride ourselves on our outstanding, compassionate and experienced team, who look after your precious fur babies and you, their owners!
